Port Angeles was awesome fun in wet terrain. Sean and I took a couple days off work and flew in with the bike all packed up. Sean put them back together again in the hotel room at the Super 8. The Super 8 even had a bike wash out front and a free breakfast that was adequate.
Once the bikes were ready, and we had a good rest overnight, we headed out to the amazing dirt that Port Angeles had to offer. Every bit of riding was fun!
Sean captured this photo of Amber coming down a muddy chute with some raingear on.
Amber looking for the corner.
Amber attempted to capture Sean coming around this corner on his course, which was different from Amber's course for the weekend. Clearly, Amber needs practice on taking action shots, so they come out a bit less blurry!

Some of the best racers in the world did some fast cornering.
More beautiful body position coming over some roots. Ahhh...if only it were as easy as they make it look!
Sean and I didn't have any major crashes this weekend, but some other racers weren't so lucky.
The trees were tall, and the crowds were super enthusiastic about local favorites.
Amber having an exciting time riding between the tape.
The crowds were super enthusiastic, preparing for the race runs of Gwin and Kintner by hanging an American flag and a unicorn pinata.
