We pretty much just relaxed and cleaned up the apartment this weekend. It had been a hectic summer that felt like we were away every weekend and we would get home Sunday night dump dirty clothes in a piles, do some laundry and start the work week. As a result our apartment was a disaster and both Amber and I were looking forward to taking it easy this weekend!
We did head out on Sunday afternoon and check out a trail called Little Raven. It was recently worked on by the Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance and they had put a lot of work in to getting it into the current state - which was awesome! It is not a long trail section but would be very easy to link into any of the other trails around Brainard Lake. The riding was excellent, it had a number of rock gardens that were fun in both directions and a narrow wooden bridges over boggy sections.
A fun little ride and a good relaxing weekend!
